Anxiety is one of the worst feelings we can have; strangely enough it is designed that way through evolution. It is our old survival mechanism, the flight or fight response. The discomfort comes from the release of adrenaline, cortisol and noradrenaline in response to a perceived threat. It is designed to push us into action to survive by running away from the threat or fighting it. This might have been fine for physical threats such as lions and tigers, but today it is more about the response to perceived emotional threats at a subconscious level. Often with anxiety we can start to fear the anxiety, a fear of a fear and it feeds itself, being anxious about being anxious, this often results in panic attacks. As soon as you try to control you anxiety you feed it. Anxiety will tent to worse over time not better because of this. The mind can be in a constant state of worry.
There are many types of anxiety from a general anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias and many more. These anxieties come from a subconscious level of the mind. Habits of seeing threats that are usually not real threats at all but imaginary threats; and the subconscious can’t tell the difference between a real or imagined experience. Because the issue is at a subconscious level then this is where it needs to be resolved.

The program comprises of 6 weekly one on one sessions and a set of 4 hypnosis recordings to listen to between sessions. It takes this long to change habit patterns of the mind. He also provides 3 CD’s with three tracks on each that can be listened in a car. These are provided free of charge. Tony gets referrals from Doctors, Psychologists and Psychiatrists who have seen great improvement over a short period of time. There is no requirement for a referral if you wish to make an appointment. The program is a combination of a life coaching course with a main focus on resolving the anxiety. The sessions focus on the individual’s specific issues and hypnotherapy to resolve these issues at a subconscious level.
